Kingsley Charter School Community Links

DCPC - If you want to be in the know on issues that affect our local schools, this is the group to get involved in.  The Dunwoody-Chamblee Parents Council is an organization that brings parents, school board members, school officials, and legislators together to discuss topics that affect public schools in our community.  Meetings are generally held on the first Wednesday of each month with refreshments at 8:45AM and a meeting start time of 9:15AM

New Dunwoody Academy Proposal (4/15/08) - There has been much discussion in the community since the announcement on April 15, 2008 by Superintendent Dr. Crawford Lewis to create a 4th/5th Grade Academy on Womack Road at the site that was to be a traditional K-5 elementary school (new attendance lines announced on 9/24/07).  Various web sites/blogs are available for local residents to discuss and share their opinions on this decision (see below).  DISCLAIMER:  These links are being provided to Kingsley parents via our web site as a means of informing you on the issue and the various opinions and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the school administration or Charter Council.  We encourage our parents to be informed on these issues and to be part of the discussion.
