Information on the 2008 Pre-K Lottery

Pre-Kindergarten Application is ONE DAY ONLY on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Only children who live in the Kingsley attendance area are eligible to apply to Kingsley's Pre-K. Parents/guardians must provide complete documentation.

Complete documentation includes:

• Child's original Certified Birth Certificate:  Proof that the child will be four years of age on or before September 1, 2008.

• Proof of Residency:  (Current month's Gas, Water, or Electric Bill and/or a copy of your Lease Agreement)  A Residence Affidavit must be provide if current bills are in someone else's name. 

NOTE: Submitting applications at multiple sites will result in your child's withdrawal from the program.

The application process will close at 1:00 p.m.  A lottery drawing will begin at 1:15 p.m.  The pre-kindergarten class will be filled for the 2008-2009 school year from the applications pulled during the lottery.  All other applications will be placed in the waiting pool and served as spaces become available throughout the school year.  Further information about the pre-kindergarten program will be provided during the application process.
