Performs at numerous school events and some community events. Permission slip, choral expectations and activities will be sent home with students.

Teaches gardening skills, fosters responsibility, and promotes fun. Members will continue last year’s focuses by building gardens around campus and will learn about creating and maintaining a garden, what to plant, the importance of worms, and much more.
Open to Grades K-5
Cost: Free
Meets once a month 2:45-3:45p  | Grades 3-5 on the 2nd Thursday of the Month and Grades K-2 on the 3rd Thursday of the month
Parent Involvement: Parents are asked to assist on Master Gardener Days; Club requires  2-3 parents to assist on Club meeting days.

Sponsored by our local Kiwanis Club, this club is all about community service. Students will participate in various school and community service projects and learn how a helping hand can truly make a difference.
Open to Grades 4-5
Cost: $10 per year
Meets once a month as determined by club member schedules and service projects

These Roving Reporters  will publish articles in the student Comet newsletter. Focuses on creative writing, interviewing skills, communication technology, and more. Students receive a Kingsley Press Pass.

Offers students a chance to learn a new language. Students will have lots of fun learning Spanish words about things like numbers, colors, the calendar, clothes, and food, as we have fun singing, playing games, and doing other activities.
Open to Grades K-5
Cost $50 per semester

The Odyssey of the Mind club encourages and celebrates creative thinking. Students are challenged to dream up dramatic scenes, build structures from unconventional materials (such as toothpicks and marshmallows), and think with an open mind and active imagination.
Open to Grades 2-5

Tryouts will be held on Aug. 25, Sept. 1 and Sept. 8. After this, the coach and sponsor will select a team of no more than seven students. The team will meet each Thursday after school.

The Science Olympiad Club is a program that prepares its members to compete in the county Science Olympiad that occurs in May of every year. Students conduct experiments in aeronautics, making music with bottles, and creating cars out of pasta.
Open to Grades 3-5
Students must have a GPA of "B" or better and have satisfactory conduct grades to participate.
Cost: No fee to join.
Meets weekly on Tuesday from 2:45-4:00

The Reading Bowl Club is a program to ensure that the Reading Bowl team is prepared to compete in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl which occurs in February each year.
Open to Grades 4-5
Cost: Free to join
Meetings will be scheduled based on team member schedules.
