Kingsley Breakfast and Lunch Programs

Kingsley offers a nutritionally balanced meal at a nominal fee. We encourage every child to participate in our lunch program regularly. By doing so, the student has an opportunity to learn to eat new foods and to have a balanced diet at a reasonable cost. Kingsley's breakfast and lunch schedules follow the Dekalb County School Lunch Menu.

When a child does not wish to purchase a lunch, we ask your cooperation in sending only an
individually prepared lunch. Bringing a lunch prepared from a fast food restaurant is disruptive to
our instructional program and to other students.

Students are not allowed to exchange or give away food in the lunchroom. Students should not
bring carbonated beverages, glass containers, gum, or candy to school. The sale of junk food is
prohibited at Kingsley Charter School.

Parents are welcome to join their child for lunch. Parents should send a note to the homeroom
teacher the morning of the visit so that adequate food preparation can be made

Kingsley Breakfast Program

Breakfast is an important part of the learning day. Breakfast at Kingsley is served in the cafeteria prior to class start times every school day. Contact the office at 678-874-8902 for more information.

Meal Payments

Students may pay for their meals with cash or using their funded mylunchmoney.com account.

CASH PAYMENTS

If you wish to pay for meals with cash, place cash or a check in an sealed envelope with the child's name, his/her homeroom teacher's name, the child's school number, and the amount in the envelope written on the outside. Make checks payable to Kingsley Cafeteria. Students should give the envelope to the cafeteria cashier on Mondays.

ONLINE PAYMENTS
For convenience, we encourage parents to use MyLunchMoney.com to pay for student meals. This online tool allows parents to put money in a debit account for students to use ONLY for school meals. Parents may set up their accounts to automatically fund students when the account gets low or may manually fund students. Students will use their ID to charge meals to their account.
