Kingsley Breakfast and Lunch ProgramsKingsley offers a nutritionally balanced meal at a nominal fee. We encourage every child to participate in our lunch program regularly. By doing so, the student has an opportunity to learn to eat new foods and to have a balanced diet at a reasonable cost. Kingsley's breakfast and lunch schedules follow the Dekalb County School Lunch Menu.
When a child does not wish to purchase a lunch, we ask your cooperation in sending only an individually prepared lunch. Bringing a lunch prepared from a fast food restaurant is disruptive to our instructional program and to other students. Students are not allowed to exchange or give away food in the lunchroom. Students should not bring carbonated beverages, glass containers, gum, or candy to school. The sale of junk food is prohibited at Kingsley Charter School. Parents are welcome to join their child for lunch. Parents should send a note to the homeroom teacher the morning of the visit so that adequate food preparation can be made Kingsley Breakfast ProgramBreakfast is an important part of the learning day.
